Moonlight White (Yue Guang Bai)

Although green tea has been steamed in China since the Tang Dynasty (618-907), stir-fried green tea is the most common today. Yu Lu is one of the few green teas in China that is still traditionally steamed (Zhēng qīng 蒸青). Compared to Japanese steamed green tea, Yu Lu undergoes a milder steaming treatment, resulting in a light, smooth and fresh taste with less pronounced grassy notes. Our Yu Lu comes from the Wuling Mountains near Enshi, located in Hubei province.
