DrinkBlad and a circular economy
DrinkBlad stands for a sustainable future in which we handle our natural resources with care. The transition to a circular economy plays a key role in this. This means that we reuse raw materials, minimize waste and choose production processes that burden the earth as little as possible.
The Dutch government aims to be fully circular by 2050. This means that the impact of production and consumption must remain within the carrying capacity of the earth. The National Program Circular Economy (NPCE) focuses on a number of strategies to achieve this, such as a longer lifespan of products and optimal recycling.
DrinkBlad tea is a pure natural product, carefully grown and processed, with minimal impact on the environment. We work on a more sustainable tea chain by choosing 100% clean cultivation methods and a conscious selection of tea producers.
In addition, we consciously choose mono-material packaging. This means that our packaging consists of one type of material, making it easy to separate from waste, 100% recyclable and thus perfectly fitting within the vision of a circular economy.
Drinking loose tea is also a more sustainable alternative to tea bags. Many tea bags contain various chemically treated materials that cannot be separated properly, making recycling difficult. With loose tea you avoid unnecessary waste and at the same time enjoy an authentic and pure tea experience.
With every cup of tea we contribute to a circular future.
